Muffalo Potato is a YouTube channel full of fun, upbeat drawing tutorials. There are many animals and familiar cartoon characters to choose from. Lessons are usually about 5 – 10 minutes long. Paul Priestly is an art teacher who has created lots of step-by-step drawing and painting tutorials for kids. He’s enthusiastic and motivating! Many tutorials to choose from, most are 5 – 10 minutes long. Christopher Hart provides lots of tutorials about drawing people and other characters. Most are about 5 minutes long. Mark Kistler teaches kids how to draw cartoons that are 3-dimensional by using shading. These are more complex tutorials, each is about 45 minutes to one hour. Lots to choose from! The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art presents this fun video series called “The Country Dog Gentlemen Travel to Extraordinary Worlds,” in which canine characters from Roy De Forest’s playful painting Country Dog Gentlemen take you on adventures to learn about famous artworks in SFMOMA’s collection. Each video is about 2 minutes long. Smithsonian Museum: Fun Stuff for Kids & Teens - This is a collection of links to art projects, games, activities, information, and videos. When you use Autodraw from Google, your simple drawings of objects get spiffed up with the “auto-draw” option. For example, you might draw a car that looks kind of like a car, but not all that much, but autodraw will turn it into a great car drawing. Scrap Colouring If you love to color, you'll enjoy playing with the digital patterns at Scrap Coloring. There are many templates to choose from; the areas within these can be filled with either solid color or a range of patterns.
